We were honored and delighted to welcome:

Who shared their strategies and experience about the lastest trends in mobile application, multi-screens, online and  social media management.

It was also a real pleasure for me to introduce “Google as a Marketing Partner for Hoteliers” to a such interested and involved audience.

This day was given rhythm through very constructive comments and questions between the audience and speakers.

How Google Classifies Hotels On Google Address

Last week, Hotel Marketing 35 published an interesting article about a question many hoteliers asked:

“Why is my downtown hotel not listed on Google Address? Why are my competitors listed whereas their hotel has less reviews than mine?

Verified Page or Profile on Google +

DDIH focused on Google + Verified Page and Profile to help hoteliers understand better the importance of being active on their Google + Page.

More and more profiles and pages are being validated by Google.
Hotel pages don’t benefit from this validation because the industry does not count many online influencers.

However, some hotel groups start providing rich content and being followed by many people… is there a hope for hotels to get validated pages?

When hotel groups rewrite a story: RoomKey

Hotelblogs, maintained by an Online Hospitality Expert (Guillaume Thevenot), shared an interesting analysis about the online distribution channel RoomKey.

Here is his point of view:

“One of the recent news was the announcement of a new collaborative online distribution channel called RoomKey. This new venture has been launched last week in beta with major hotel groups (Choice Hotels International, Hilton Worlwide, Hyatt, IHG, Wyndham Hotel Group and Marriott).
