Neiman Marcus Christmas Book
Department store Neiman Marcus unveiled its annual Christmas Book yesterday, filled with extravagant gifts such as speedboats, a Ferrari and international trips for the affluent consumer who really does have everything – and wants more.
Last year, Neiman Marcus introduced a shoppable mobile application that consumers could use in addition to an online and print version of the catalog. Consumers can download the app for free in Apple’s App Store, order the print catalog for $15 on the retailer’s Web site or browse the digital version online.
“Neiman Marcus’ annual Christmas Book remains one of the most highly-anticipated events of the holiday season,” said Chris Ramey, president of Affluent Insights, Miami. “In particular, their fantasy gifts are always interesting and fun, as they promote the good life of Neiman Marcus and their customers.”
This year’s most lavish fantasy gifts include dancing fountains for the home valued at $1 million, a Ferrari FF starting at $350,000, tickets to the International Flower Show tour by private jet for $420,000 and a Neiman Marcus-Edition Hacker-Craft speedboat valued at $250,000.
Almost every fantasy gift has its own video that adds to the shopping experience. Consumers can also watch the entire fantasy gift video here.
